Other UC Faculty, Students, and Staff

Faculty, Students, and Staff from other University of California campuses may obtain a free UCSB library card. You will have the same borrowing privileges as the categories above, but not Interlibrary Loan use or off-campus access to research databases.

 

Email Notices

If you register your email address in your library account, all of your library circulation notices will be sent by email.  You will also receive a courtesy notice 4 days before most items are due.  These notices include instructions for renewing your materials online.

Returning Items

You may return items to any of the overnight book drops located at each entrance of the Library. During open hours, you may return items directly to the Services Desk in the Paseo or to any of the inside book drops located near the entrances. Receipts for returned items are available upon request.
