Henry T. Yang, Chancellor of the University of California, Santa Barbara, announced that effective July 1, 2017, Deputy University Librarian Alan Grosenheider will serve as Acting University Librarian. The appointment provides the UCSB Library with steady leadership while the University conducts a nationwide search to replace Denise Stephens, who departed for St. Louis in June.
