A new Collaborate Student Support Center Helpdesk location is now open at UCSB Library, in time for the start of the Spring quarter. It is located in the Library Paseo next to the Services Desk and its staff can provide walk-up support for technology questions.
Through this partnership with Collaborate, run by Letters & Science Information Technology (LSIT), the thousands of students who visit the Library each day will now be able to get technology support in addition to the research help offered by Library staff.
At the Collaborate Helpdesk, students can get assistance with services such as:
- Box.com
- Duo
- GauchoPrint
- GauchoSpace
- Identity/NetID
- UCSB Bridge
- Umail
The Helpdesk will be staffed by trained student assistants during these hours.
Students can also obtain technology assistance by:
- Browsing or searching the Student Services Help Center
- Calling (805) 893-4357
- Filing a support ticket
- Visiting other Helpdesk locations at Phelps 1521, HSSB 1203, PSYE 1804, and MUSIC 1401
